Look Beauty is still an art when good makeup meant just soaps, perfumes and oils carefully selected after word-of-mouth recommendation. Take your pick! Show off your gorgeous eyes - wear eye makeup. When your makeup is completed it should look natural. That means avoiding colors that clash. If you have dark skin and hair you will look better in darker shades; light colors will make you look washed out. If your hair and skin tone are light, light colors will look better on you. Dark makeup will make you look older and harsh. If you have oily skin, first use oil control moisturizer and foundation. Then be sure to wear loose powder, keeping pressed powder with you for touch ups.
Some women don't wear makeup because they are not sure how to use it and are afraid of being overdone. If you are unsure, start will light colors in your shade. Start slowly and add one product at a time. Maybe start with foundation, add mascara, blush or lipstick. If you are not used to wearing makeup, using a lot a first may be a little too much for you, so start slowly. The bottom line is a little is better than none.

Creating Gorgeous Eyes With Eyeliners

Creating Gorgeous Eyes With EyelinersCreating Gorgeous Eyes With EyelinersApplying make-up dates back to ancient times when people applied these to make themselves look attractive. The use of eyeliners is one of those types of make-up that has been used starting with the Egyptians who drew lines on their eyes using kohl.
One of the things that is important for any eye make-up would definitely be an eyeliner. Applying an eyeliner helps you emphasize and enhance the natural beauty of your eyes. Because most of us do not have eyes with perfect lines, we need eyeliners to correct this. For some they need lines on their eyes for they are not naturally born with them like some Asian nationalities. Still others utilize eyeliners to change the shape of their eyes.
The cosmetic market is offering a lot of brands and types of eyeliners. You have the pencil type, the liquid liner, the cake eyeliner and those with a felt tip. If you are a beginner when it comes to applying eyeliner, I would suggest that you start with the pencil type because it is way much easier to handle and control.
Applying eyeliners takes a lot of skill and practice and I have to say it is very hard especially when you are still learning the art of drawing the lines. Learning this skill takes a lot of practice and it is but natural not to get it quite perfect the first few times.
When utilizing an eyeliner pencil, make sure that you sharpen it first before using. It is important that it is well sharpened because you need to draw the lines as thin or fine as possible. Draw the lines first on the lower lid followed by the upper lid. It is best not to show any skin in between the line and your eyelashes, so draw it as near as possible on your lashes. If you don't want to make the lines seem obvious, you can create a smoky effect by smudging it using a cotton swab or an eye brush. Take your time in practicing until you get the hang of it. If you intend to use a liquid eyeliner, it is highly important that you have steady hands to avoid messing it up. As usual, stick to the basics when applying the liner like drawing it as near as possible to the lashes, etc.
With a lot of patience and practice, you can try different styles of applying your eyeliner until you find the one of ways that really brings out the best health for your eyes.
