Look Beauty is still an art when good makeup meant just soaps, perfumes and oils carefully selected after word-of-mouth recommendation. Take your pick! Show off your gorgeous eyes - wear eye makeup. When your makeup is completed it should look natural. That means avoiding colors that clash. If you have dark skin and hair you will look better in darker shades; light colors will make you look washed out. If your hair and skin tone are light, light colors will look better on you. Dark makeup will make you look older and harsh. If you have oily skin, first use oil control moisturizer and foundation. Then be sure to wear loose powder, keeping pressed powder with you for touch ups.
Some women don't wear makeup because they are not sure how to use it and are afraid of being overdone. If you are unsure, start will light colors in your shade. Start slowly and add one product at a time. Maybe start with foundation, add mascara, blush or lipstick. If you are not used to wearing makeup, using a lot a first may be a little too much for you, so start slowly. The bottom line is a little is better than none.

Summer Makeup 101

Summer Makeup 101Self Face Tanners, Bronzers and Then Some
Makeup is art for the face! It can enhance or camouflage, and just make you feel more attractive. Keeping up with the newest trends is the key to staying current and experimenting with new looks. Summer can especially be fun when exploring different makeup because of the variety of bronzers and subtle, sparkling hi-liters that are introduced.
Eyes bestow the first impression when meeting others. Achieving well dressed eyes can be carried out by lightly applying a bronzer just above the crease of the eye lid to give the eye a natural glow. Use a lighter shadow for the lid and add a touch of black liner along the roots of top lashes only and you are left with eyes that pop naturally leaving people to wonder if you wake up that way.
A sunless face tanner is a fast and easy way to achieve a bronzy glow without spending one minute in the sun and when applied, most deliver a smooth, even look. It is a favorite to those with freckles or light blemishes because of this feature. Applied every other day and foundation can wait until the cool weather returns. The sunless face not only feels weightless as opposed to foundation, but it is sweat proof and that is a big plus if at a summer outdoor event.
Light or nude color lip gloss adds a nice finish to a summer face. It is fresh, simple and natural looking. Wrap up the look with a dab of highlighter to the inner corner of the eyes and along very top of cheek bone under outer corner of lower lash line. It will add a glow and restful appearance.
Go out and enjoy a warm summer night with friends and leave them wondering what appears to be different. With a few simple adjustments, the natural look can come naturally.
