Look Beauty is still an art when good makeup meant just soaps, perfumes and oils carefully selected after word-of-mouth recommendation. Take your pick! Show off your gorgeous eyes - wear eye makeup. When your makeup is completed it should look natural. That means avoiding colors that clash. If you have dark skin and hair you will look better in darker shades; light colors will make you look washed out. If your hair and skin tone are light, light colors will look better on you. Dark makeup will make you look older and harsh. If you have oily skin, first use oil control moisturizer and foundation. Then be sure to wear loose powder, keeping pressed powder with you for touch ups.
Some women don't wear makeup because they are not sure how to use it and are afraid of being overdone. If you are unsure, start will light colors in your shade. Start slowly and add one product at a time. Maybe start with foundation, add mascara, blush or lipstick. If you are not used to wearing makeup, using a lot a first may be a little too much for you, so start slowly. The bottom line is a little is better than none.

How to Get Rid of Dry Flaky Lips

How to Get Rid of Dry Flaky Lips Dry flaky lips are a fashion don't. This is a sign that you are not taking care of yourself in more ways then one. Your lips are a simple extension of your body and well being. It is important to take care of your lips and to help them to stay soft and smooth. They are what you use to kiss you child goodnight and the expression of loves towards your other half. Taking care of your lips is a simple process. But with the long to do list that you have everyday it is easy to skip these steps and let your lips become dry and flaky. There is no need to fear. You can get rid of dry flaky lips by following this simple process.
Step One
Every time that you brush your teeth, you will want to exfoliate your lips. It will only take an extra couple of seconds in your routine to smooth out your lips. With toothpaste on your toothbrush, gently rub the toothbrush over your lips. This will remove the flaky dead skin that has become present on your lips.
Step Two
Rinse the toothpaste off of your lips when you are finished brushing them. Pat your lips dry. Allowing your lips to air dry will cause them to dry out even more. You want to not over rub your lips; they are a delicate membrane and can be irritated by too much rubbing.
Step Three
Apply a thin layer petroleum jelly to your lips to help them heal from being dry and chapped. This will seal in the moisture of your lips and protect them from the outside elements. Reapply a petroleum jelly based lip balm 2 to 3 times during the day. This is the best type of lip balm to use to get rid of dry flaky lips.
Step Four
Dry lips can be a sign of your body being dehydrated. Drink plenty of water throughout the day to keep your lips soft and smooth.
Tips
Lipstick dries lips out. Limit the amount of time that you wear lipstick on your lips to help them not to become dry and flaky. If you must wear lipstick chose ones that are a creamy consistency. The all day long wearing lipsticks will dry your lips out even faster then regular lipstick. Stay away from them.
Once you have gotten rid of your dry flaky lips continue this process. By following this process you will keep your lips kissably soft and smooth
